The support that each one of our volunteers can offer to the diferent projects that Ecuador Volunteer operates is fundamental in all fields. Thanks to them we can change lives and create smiles by helping to protect and conserve the environment. But the most important help that we can give to the volunteers is the knowledge of the Spanish language which enables them to communicate with both children and adults. When they can communicate easily with the people that they work with the volunteers become aware of and understand the problems of each one of the projects, and with that information they can change the projects for the better and make them more successful.

For this reason, those volunteers that do not have a sufficient knowledge of the Spanish language are offered this opportunity.

Information about the spanish school

Equinoccial Spanish School is the most important Spanish school in Quito, Ecuador and was one of the first Spanish schools in South America. It opened its doors in 1986 and is still considered to be a pioneer in Spanish lessons and most of the services it provides.
