The Andes region, known as the “Avenue of the Volcanoes,” is a fascinating mixture of colonial heritage and indigenous cultures. Large, bustling cities with fine colonial districts contrast the lively, colorful artisan and produce markets of indigenous communities. But not many visitors see the underprivileged regions and communities of this region that are often unable to access good healthcare, education, technical advice, and other similar services. Ecuador Volunteer seeks to address these issues and reach these underprivileged communities. Through social, educational, community, and conservation projects, Ecuador Volunteer strives to support these communities in their efforts to improve their well-being.
